The professional and high-level work at the Ludogorets Academy is once again receiving well-deserved recognition. The Ludogorets Youth Academy is sending nine of its talented players to training camps for various age-group youth national teams. Five of the “Eagles’” youngsters are joining Bulgaria U15, while another four have been called up to strengthen Bulgaria U17.
The U15 football talents are gathering as a team for the first time to form the national squad for their age group. The following Ludogorets U15 players, coached by Trifon Panev, will participate in the camp: Grigor Stefanov, Alexander Angelov, Nik Georgiev, Yoan Yordanov, and Rayan Dimitrov. These players, who were considered national prospects last year, are now worthy successors of the mission of the young “tricolors.” During a four-day training camp, they will have the chance to prove themselves in a series of friendly matches.
The older players from Ludogorets U17 – Alexander Panayotov, Timur Mustafa, Preslav Stoykov, and Yastiyan Georgiev – will strengthen The Bulgaria U17 National Team. Together with the rest of the squad, the players under coach Milen Marinov will begin a training camp that is part of their preparation for the European qualifiers in October. As guests, the young football hopefuls will play three friendly matches: on September 6 against Fortuna Düsseldorf U17, on September 9 against Borussia Dortmund U17, and on September 11 against Westphalia U17.
