For the eighth consecutive year, The Aurubis Training Summer Camp is bringing the magic of football to young talents from across the country. This traditional sports initiative is organized by Aurubis and PFC Ludogorets, with the 2025 edition officially kicking off earlier today.
Young football prospects born in 2015 and 2016 have arrived from Zlatitsa and Pirdop to soak up the professional atmosphere at the Ludogorets Football Academy in Razgrad. Among the participants are also young athletes from Razgrad. Over the course of three days, the boys will develop their football skills under the guidance of coaches from Ludogorets’ Youth Academy.
Most of the children have already been training in their local towns. With the help of the experienced specialists from the Eagles’ Academy, they will not only build on their existing abilities but also learn new elements of the beautiful game. During their stay in Razgrad, the young football hopefuls will also visit the club’s training base, the “Eagles’ Nest,” as well as the Huvepharma Arena stadium.
Aurubis is the world’s largest copper recycler. The German-owned company operates Aurubis Bulgaria, a copper smelter in Pirdop. The company is a key partner of PFC Ludogorets in promoting football among the youngest players. Initiatives like this provide opportunities to shape future professionals, while also instilling discipline, a love for sports, and healthy lifestyle habits in the younger generation.
