The standout players from the academy of 14-time champions Ludogorets received well-deserved recognition for their talent and achievements over the past months. The annual awards ceremony for the club’s brightest youth talents brought an emotional high to the celebrations at Huvepharma Arena following the Ludogorets U14 team’s victory over Fenerbahce.
For several generations now, the Ludogorets Academy has been discovering and nurturing successful footballers, turning the dreams of many children and young players across the country into reality. This season, the young footballers achieved another historic milestone. The elite U14, U15, U16, and U18 teams all won their respective national championships and lifted Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) trophies. The U14 team also decisively took first place in the Varna regional zone.
The official awards ceremony was attended by Lachezar Dimov – Head Methodologist of the BFU, Angel Petrichev – Executive Director of PFC Ludogorets, Cosmin Moti – Technical Director of the club, and Dincher Karov – Chairman of the BFU’s Regional Council in Razgrad. They had the honor of personally presenting the awards to the successful players.
Ludogorets’ annual individual awards added even more reason for joy and pride for seven standout players:
Best Goalkeeper: Aleksandar Panayotov (Ludogorets U16)
Best Defender: Timur Mustafa (Ludogorets U16)
Best Midfielder: Yastiyan Georgiev (Ludogorets U16)
Best Forward: Aleksandar Aleksandrov (Ludogorets U15)
Top Scorer: Rayan Dimitrov (Ludogorets U14)
Most Valuable Player: Rumen Dzhepkov (Ludogorets U14)
Most Promising Player: Vitomir Todorov (Ludogorets U15)
BFU individual honors were also presented:
Aleksandar Aleksandrov received the Top Scorer of the U15 Elite Group award.
Maksim Minkov was recognized for his impactful play in the U17 Elite group.
Team awards added to the championship atmosphere, with the U14 team, led by coaches Trifon Panev, Diyan Angelov, and Viktor Georgiev, receiving their gold medals and trophy. The coaching team behind the U15 champions – Svetlin Ivanov, Emiliyan Petrov, Ivan Tsvetanov, Dobrin Dobrev, Branimir Kostadinov, and Krasimir Chomakov – were also awarded. Ludogorets U16, coached by Milen Marinov, Valeri Venkov, Dobrin Dobrev, and Branimir Kostadinov, lifted their trophy for finishing first in the U16 Elite. The U17 team celebrated with cups and bronze medals.
As a special gesture from PFC Ludogorets, all honorees received commemorative watches, accompanied by wishes for continued precision, speed, and success.
The applause didn’t stop, as heartfelt recognition was given to the many people dedicated to developing the young talents at the “Eagles” Academy. The club expressed deep gratitude to the owners, brothers Kiril and Georgi Domuschiev, Board Chair Temenuga Gazdova, Club President Aleksandar Aleksandrov, Executive Drector Angel Petrichev, and Sporting Director Georgi Karamandzhukov for making it all possible.
