The successful youth team of Ludogorets made their first misstep in The VIVACOM CUP International Youth Tournament. They were narrowly defeated 0:1 by their peers from Partizan (Serbia).

The only goal of the match came during the first half. Until the final whistle, the young “Eagles” had several chances not only to equalize but even to turn the game in their favor. However, due to a series of missed opportunities, the match ended with Partizan holding on to their slim lead.

This was the last group-stage match for the Ludogorets contenders. In the previous two days, The Young Eagles recorded decisive 5:0 victories over the champions from Odil Akhmedov (Uzbekistan) and Fenerbahce (Turkiye). This was the third consecutive win for the children of Partizan, who also defeated the same opponents — Fenerbahce and Odil Akhmedov.

Tomorrow’s tournament day will see the eight international participants face off in final clashes that will determine who truly deserves the championship title.
