Only a few hours remain until the football celebration organized by Ludogorets begins, as part of this year’s edition of the International Youth Football Tournament “VIVACOM CUP”. The program kicks off tomorrow with thrilling matches between some of the strongest youth teams in Europe — champions in their respective countries and tomorrow’s football stars.
Among the participating teams are Benfica (Portugal), Fenerbahce (Turkyie), PAOK (Greece), Partizan (Serbia), FCSB (Romania), Dinamo Tbilisi (Georgia), and a team selected by Uzbek football legend Odil Akhmedov. Representing Bulgaria are the hosts Ludogorets, 14-time men’s champions. The tournament is for players born in 2011 and is held with the support of the Bulgarian Football Union.
Matches will be played at the “Eagles' Nest” complex and Huvepharma Arena, as the originally planned games in the town of Isperih have been canceled due to technical reasons. Entry is free for all football fans.
The official opening is scheduled for June 13 at 16:00, while the first match – Ludogorets vs. Odil Akhmedov’s team – will start at 9:30 a.m. on the same day. The final is set for June 16 at 11:30 a.m. at Huvepharma Arena, followed by the award ceremony and closing event at 13:30 at the club stadium.
