Ludogorets begins preseason with medical tests

The champions from Ludogorets have kicked off their summer preparations with traditional medical examinations, which this year are being conducted in a brand-new, high-tech medical facility built at the club's training base in Razgrad. This makes the "Eagles" the first club in Bulgaria to have such modern equipment at their training complex.

The new facility allows for comprehensive functional and cardiological evaluations. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for testing heart function, lung capacity, muscle strength, recovery, and other key parameters related to the workload of professional athletes.

The examinations are being carried out by one of the top sports cardiologists in the country – Prof. Ivan Gruev – in close collaboration with Dr. Viktoria Dimitrova and the "Respire" clinic in Razgrad.

The facility will be used regularly by the first team, as well as the second, third, women’s, and all youth teams of Ludogorets.
This reinforces the club’s leading position in Bulgarian football in terms of sports medicine and the individual approach to players’ physical condition.

The team will hold its first training session at the club base later this evening.
