The players from Ludogorets' third team recorded their second victory during the winter training break. They won the friendly 3-2 against FCSB (Bucharest), played at the "Eagle's Nest" complex.
The friendly match provided an exciting and dynamic 90 minutes. The hosts dominated their opponents and converted only some of the goal-scoring opportunities that came their way. The opening goal was scored by Yanko Azhlani in the 30th minute after a pass from Martin Stanchev. Svetlin Kralev made it 2-0 in the 58th minute following a fast counterattack by the Ludogorets side, with an assist from Viktor Ivanov. Martin Stanchev scored again in the 67th minute with a shot from the edge of the penalty area, set up by Petar Lyutkanov. Leading comfortably 3-0, the young "Eagles" made some costly mistakes after 80 minutes of play, which allowed the opponents to score two goals and reduce the deficit.
"I am pleased with the effort of everyone in the team, except for the last 15 minutes when we lost concentration and made mistakes that cost us the two opponent goals," commented Ludogorets III coach Martin Tsirkov.
Next Saturday, his "Eagles" will once again face FCSB, but this time on their home field in Bucharest.
