The elite Ludogorets U17 team welcomed February with a decisive 4-0 victory in a home friendly against FCSB (Bucharest). The third friendly match, part of Ludogorets' winter preparations, was played at the "Eagle's Nest" complex.

The young "Eagles" played another strong match, with the players showcasing their skills at a high level right from the first half. In the first 45 minutes alone, they managed to build an impressive lead with a four-goal advantage.

The scoring was opened by Yoan Anastasov in the 7th minute of the match. His shot finished off a nice, well-coordinated attacking move. The lead was doubled by Boyan Ivanov in the 16th minute. His precise shot was again set up by a great attack involving Iliyan Gatinski and Maxim Minkov.Maxim Minkov made it 3-0 in the 31st minute of the match. The goal came after Nikolay Nikolov delivered a cross from the wing. Maxim Minkov then sealed the 4-0 victory with a precise shot that lifted the ball over the goalkeeper, following a perfectly executed through pass from Ivan Todorov.

The chances for more goals in the first half didn’t stop there. Ivan Todorov, Iliyan Gatinski, and Mahir Sherifov all missed opportunities to score. Although they didn’t extend the lead further, the Ludogorets U17 players demonstrated discipline, compactness, and didn’t allow the Romanian opponents to create any goal-scoring situations in front of their goal.

The second half wasn’t marked by much excitement in front of either goal, but all the players from the home team’s squad for the match managed to get a chance to feature on the field.

"The entire coaching staff is pleased with the performance demonstrated by the team, especially in the first half. This is the face and identity of the team that we want to see in the upcoming spring season. The championship preparations continue, and I congratulate all the players for their effort and dedication during the training process," said Ludogorets U17 head coach Rosen Marinov.

During their upcoming fourth friendly, the elite "Eagles" will visit FCSB in Bucharest. The match is scheduled for next Saturday
