‘Things I’ve said have been translated and used out of context’, said Cosmin Moti after reading statements about him not being happy about reducing the players’ paychecks.
‘I spoke to a Romanian agency at the end of March about a problem concerning the local football league. Ludogorets has nothing to do with it but some Bulgarian journalists have translated my statement’, Moti said.
Moti was one of the most active players during the negotiations related to the anti-crisis measures the club decided to take. One of these measures is the pay reduction: all players will receive 30% less than their usual paychecks. This was crucial for maintaining the club’s structure.
