The Brazilian defensive midfielder Alex Santana is now part of Ludogorets. The Bulgarian champions and Botafogo finalized their negotiations which included Rafael Forster’s transfer to the Rio De Janeiro team led by Paulo Autuori. Santana has been observed by the Ludogorets scouts for a long time until the time for his transfer came. Alex stated his personal contract terms and he will receive the #7 shirt. His official introduction is scheduled for July 24th at 1:00 PM at Huvepharma Arena stadium.
Santana started his career at Internacional in Porto Alegre, after which he was part of Parana and Guarani. He scored a total of 10 goals while playing at Botafogo.
“I like Razgrad and I feel at home. I found many friends in the team and I hope I will help Ludogorets continue their successful path in Bulgaria and Europe”, Santana said. He has been in Razgrad for six days and he already trained with his new team a couple of times.
