Ludogorets suffered first loss in the winter friendly games - 1:3 against the Czech Teplice. In the match, coach Georgi Dermendzhiev released some youngsters, including Damyan Hristov, Anastas Pemperski and Metodiy Stefanov.
As is known, in their first two meetings on Turkish soil, the Eagles recorded two wins in which they scored a total of six goals - 3:0 against Olimpija Ljubljana and 3:1 against Rakow.
In the 12th minute Ludogorets made first accurate shot. Spas Delev found Rick Jhonathan in the box and he shot but his effort was saved by Richard Ludha. Two minutes later, Georgi Dermendzhiev's team took the lead. Rwan Cruz and Jakub Piotrowski made a nice double pass that left the Brazilian alone against the Czech goalkeeper. Cruz showed great confidence and dug the ball over Ludha. In the 26th minute Teplice could have equalized. A player from the Czech team managed a nice cross from the right flange and put the ball on the head of Abdala Gning, but Simon Sluga showed an excellent reflex and cleared it.
Four minutes later, Teplice equalized. After a scramble in the penalty area, the ball landed at the feet of Petar Hronek, who shot. During its execution, a ricochet resulted, which left no chance for Sluga.
The second part started in a nightmare for Ludogorets. Rai Nascimento made a mistake first and Gning could not miss. Then the young Anastas Pemperski returned the ball poorly to Simon Sluga, the Senegalese Gning took it and scored - 3:1.
In the 65th minute Tissera made a miss and shortly after won a penalty for Ludogorets after Micević played with his hand after his shot. Rwan Cruz failed to score from the penalty spot. Five minutes later Teplice could have scored a fourth goal, but young goalkeeper Damian Hristov saved the crossbar. By the end of the game, the tempo dropped and the match ended with a score of 3:1 for Teplice.
