Ludogorets coach, Ante Simundza, said that the atmosphere in the team is excellent and he hopes that this will be transferred to the field for the match with HJK. "There will be changes. We will play on an artificial pitch, as before. The match with Zalgiris is in the past, now we are thinking about HJK," he began. "Only Dominique is injured. I'm happy that Claude is back. It will be risky for him to be a starter. Of all the red cards at the beginning of the season, only Cicinho's one worries him. He was simply not needed," he added. "We have done our work. We are prepared for the match with HJK. I want to come out motivated. I want to go into seventh gear this week - two games with HJK and one with CSKA. We have been playing for three days since July and I think we are doing well. The most important match is the one in Finland," he concluded.
Cauly Oliveira also commented on the match. "We are prepared. After strong matches against top teams like Roma and Betis, I want us to beat HJK and move forward," said playmaker Cauly. "Ludogorets has always treated the Brazilians well. The new boys are good, they have to show it on the pitch," he added. "I have experience with artificial pitches. In a day we have to get used to it. The positive thing is that an artificial pitch cannot be bad," he finished.
PFC Ludogorets held its official training session at the "BOLT Arena" stadium before tomorrow's match with HJK from Group C of the Europa League. Ante Simundza brought the players onto the pitch at 7:00 p.m.
The session, which was held in continuous rain, lasted exactly one hour. All 23 players who arrived with the team in Finland took part in it, including Claude Gonzalves. The Portuguese midfielder is currently recovering from an injury.
