Ludogorets lost 0:1 to Braga in the third match of the Europa League F Group. The Bulgarian champions are now left with one point overall. The guest team kept the pace high and Ludogorets did not manage to make the score even.
The first situation was in the guest team’s favor. Kahlina did not react when Medeiros hit the woodwork. Braga registered a goal two minutes later when Horta scored.
Ludogorets scored a goal in the 10th minute but it was cancelled after the VAR system confirmed an offside. The teams were evenly matched later before Braga became more active. Sotiriou created the only goal situation for Ludogorets.
Tekpetey chose not to pass the ball to Despodov in the 48th minute and that was a mistake. He tried to score with his head ten minutes later but his attempt was too weak. Plastun blocked Horta’s goal attempt in the 65th minute and the ball went out.
Goncales hit the woodwork in the 73rd minute. Eight minutes before the end Tchibota tried to outplay Fabiano, and the player insisted Braga’s wingback played with his hand in the penalty zone. The referee decided otherwise despite he had to give Ludogorets the right to a penalty kick.
