Ludogorets recorded a draw in their second pre-season friendly of the summer. The Eagles finished 2–2 against Romanian top-flight side Botosani. Alberto Salido opened the scoring in the 10th minute, and Bernard Tekpetey doubled the lead five minutes later. The Romanian team pulled one goal back shortly afterwards through Mailat.
The second half was evenly contested, with both teams creating chances to score. Right at the end of the match, Botosani equalized following a corner kick in front of Sergio Padt's goal. Ludogorets' next two friendlies will be played on the same day, July 10, when they face Septemvri Sofia and Albanian side Teuta in succession.
