Ludogorets didn’t manage to defeat Botev Plovdiv in the derby of the round. 5000 viewers witnessed the 1:1 draw with the “canaries”. Now the champions are leaders in the ranking with seven points ahead the second CSKA.
Ludogorets lead in the 21-th minute. Hristo Zlatinski scored from a penalty, after Sprokel committed a foul against Junior Caicara. Just after that “the eagles” missed to determine the result, when Caicara couldn’t score in one-on-one situation against Adam Stachowiak. Botev equalized three minutes before the halftime. The Romanian player Curtean scored from a free-kick.
During the second half Ludogorets was the superior team, but some missed opportunities prevented a success for the team. The substitutes in this match Roman Bezjak and Michel Platini missed great chances in front of the guests goalkeeper. Botev finished the game with a man less after a red card for Serdjan Lukin.
