PFC Ludogorets has reached an agreement with Brazilian giant Botafogo for the transfer of Brazilian youth international Nathan Fernandes. Following successfully finalized negotiations between the two clubs, the fleet-footed winger will play for the "Eagles" on loan, with an option to buy included in the contract.
The 21-year-old Nathan arrives in Razgrad with impressive experience despite his young age. Between 2022 and 2025, he made 61 official appearances for Gremio, and after moving to Botafogo for a significant transfer fee in 2025, he played another 29 matches for the club, scoring 5 goals in total.
Nathan is currently training with Ludogorets while the club works to complete the documentation and registration process for the player.
In 2025, Nathan made his debut for the Brazil U20 national team. So far, he has earned 5 caps, notably keeping Bournemouth star Rayan as his backup in the squad.
"I know what kind of club Ludogorets is and what goals it pursues. We need to win back the league title and perform strongly in European competitions," Nathan commented after finalizing his transfer.
The Brazilian is Ludogorets' third new signing this summer, following the arrivals of Mihail Polendakov and Hossam Abdelmaguid.
The management, coaching staff, and everyone at the club wish Nathan great success in the Ludogorets shirt.
