Two players from the Elite team of Ludogorets U17 have received call-ups to join the Bulgarian Youth National Team for their age group. Maxim Minkov and Ilian Gatinski, who train with the "Eagles" under coach Rosen Marinov, were highly praised for their football skills.

They are joining the ranks of the young "lions" to play in the European qualifiers in Malta. Their preparation will begin on April 6th at the National Football Base in Boyana.

During the qualifiers, the Bulgarian Youth National Team will play three matches. In the first one, the "Tricolors" will face their counterparts from Malta. The match is scheduled for April 10th at 12:00 PM Bulgarian time. On April 13th, at 3:30 PM, the young Bulgarian players will play against the Faroe Islands. In the final match, they will face Luxembourg, which will take place on April 16th, also at 3:30 PM Bulgarian time.

Maxim Minkov and Ilian Gatinski earned the trust of the U17 National Team coach with their strong performances. The boys from Ludogorets Academy have stood out with numerous goals and assists, contributing to their team's victories in the Elite Youth Championship. Both valuable players are part of the academy of the national champion from 2020. Maxim Minkov plays as a central forward and has been recognized as the top scorer in the Elite leagues for the second consecutive year – this season in the U17 category and last season in the U16 category. He is one of the most promising talents at the "Eagles' nest" and attracts attention with his excellent technique and goal-scoring abilities. His teammate Ilian Gatinski, a playmaker for Ludogorets U17, also frequently receives call-ups to the youth national teams. The young player is highly regarded for his constructive play on the field, which is among the best and most consistent over time.
