The champion Ludogorets won the Bulgarian Super Cup after a dramatic victory over Botev (Plovdiv) at the "Hristo Botev" stadium in Plovdiv – 3:2.

This was Ludogorets' fourth consecutive Bulgarian Super Cup and their eighth overall in history.

The match at the "College" stadium, especially the second half, was a real treat for the spectators. Botev (Plovdiv) took the lead through Akere, but Ludogorets made a comeback with goals from Dinis Almeida and Piotrowski. Aleksa Marash equalized, and just when everyone was expecting penalties, Ivaylo Chochev brought the victory to the "Eagles"!
