FCSB juniors lifted the cup for first place at VIVACOM CUP 2024

FCSB juniors announced the Eagle's Nest complex in Razgrad, on whose ground they lifted the cup for the first place of the International Youth Football Tournament VIVACOM CUP 2024 with joyful songs and enthusiastic cheers.

The three-day football passions surrounding its holding ended appropriately with an emotional official awarding of the 14-year-old participants. He was sympathized by officials, representatives and supporters of the clubs, as well as the mascot of the Razgrad club - the Fortuna eagle. The ceremony was held on one of the fields in the sports complex, where the hosts of the sports competition from Ludogorets had taken care to provide perfect conditions for the successful performance of the young people.

The award ceremony took place minutes after the euphoria of the final whistle, which ended the final clash for first place between FCSB and Zimbru (Chisinau). After contested 6 matches, in the end both teams finished with an equal number of points. However, according to the rules of the tournament, the juniors of the Romanian team won the cup for first place because of their better goal difference. The cup was presented to the champions by the representative of the general sponsor of the tournament Vivacom - Elitsa Sabeva.

The boys from Zimbru deservedly lifted the cup for second place. The prize was presented to them by the technical director and legendary defender of Ludogorets Cosmin Moti. The talents of the native champion Ludogorets finished in the worthy third place in the final ranking, which were awarded by the director of the Children's and Youth School of the Eagles, Radoslav Komitov. The juniors of Dynamo (Kyiv) ranked fourth, awarded by the Ghanaian ace of Ludogorets Bernard Tekpetey.

All participants also received gifts from one of the sponsors of the tournament - the chain of sports stores Sport Vision. Individual prizes were awarded to football players who distinguished themselves with their achievements. Edwin Chinkan from the champions of the FCSB tournament was chosen as the best goalkeeper. The award was presented to him by Bernard Tekpetey. The prize for the best defender went to Vitomir Todorov from Ludogorets, who was awarded by Cosmin Moti. FCSB's Nicolas Purice took home the tournament's top scorer award, presented by Radoslav Komitov. The Dynamo team was determined to demonstrate the most sportsmanlike game. Elitsa Sabeva awarded them, and Bernard Tekpetey presented the award for the best midfielder to Zimbru player Mihai Puskasu.

This year's eighth edition of the VIVACOM CUP tournament attracted dozens of ambitious young athletes - champions of Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. They embarked on the pursuit of a decent performance and held attractive football matches that passed in a spirit of sportsmanship and a friendly atmosphere.
