At the beginning of next week, football passion will heat up with the opening of the eighth consecutive edition of the "VIVACOM CUP" International Youth Football Tournament. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will offer interesting clashes on the pitches in the Eagles' Nest complex in Razgrad.
This year, the Eagles of Ludogorets, born in 2010, and the foreign guests, champions of Romania, Moldova and Kyiv, will take part in the football event. Zimbru Chisinau, the club from the Romanian capital Bucharest FCSB and Dinamo Kyiv will take part in the youth tournament. They will face each other in head-to-head matches with halves of 35 minutes each.
The official start of the international sports event "VIVACOM CUP 2024" will be on Tuesday, July 23, at 08:50 am. Only 10 minutes later, the first referee's signal will sound for the start of the first meeting, in which the players of Ludogorets and Zimbru Chisinau will measure their strength and skill. At 10:45 am, the second match will take place between the Romanian club FCSB from Bucharest and Dinamo Kyiv. The hosts have also planned a cultural program for their guests, who will get to know the traditions of yogurt, for which Ludogorie region is famous. At the end of the first tournament day, the young footballers will have the opportunity to touch the colorful palette that the guests from five continents are displaying during the Yoghurt Fair and Festival of folk traditions and arts and crafts in Razgrad.
On Wednesday, the football tournament continues with the matches between Ludogorets and FCSB, as well as between Zimbru Chisinau and Dinamo Kyiv. The first referee's whistle will sound the Eagles' Nest at 9 o'clock, and the second game starts at 10:45 am. In the evening, a visit to the official stadium of the Razgrad team - Huvefarma Arena, will be organized, where the representative team of Ludogorets will face Dinamo Minsk in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.
In the final matches, which will be played on Thursday, Ludogorets and Dinamo Kyiv will go head-to-head on the field, and FCSB will face Zimbru Chisinau. The matches start at 09:30 am.
The awarding ceremony of the winners will take place at 12 o'clock on Thursday. In the event of a tie after all matches played, the result of the head-to-head between the teams with equal points, the better goal difference and the greater number of goals scored will be taken into account.
