Ludogorets achieved its third consecutive win from the camp in Austria - 2:0 over the fifth in Switzerland St. Gallen. In their previous two friendly games, the Eagles beat Slovenian Primorie 5-0, as well as Slovan Bratislava 1-0. New entries Edvin Kurtulus and Deroy Duarte made their debuts.

The coach of the champions, Georgi Dermendzhiev, bet on almost everything for the best, without the absent Jakub Piotrowski and Kwadwo Duah. Todor Nedelev and Ivaylo Chochev were given starting positions in the third match in a row, which is a clear sign that Georgi Dermendzhiev is satisfied with the Bulgarian midfielders.

In the 13th minute, Willem Goebbels outplayed Dinis Almeida and shot hard, but Sergio Padt shone with an excellent save. Ludogorets made a good attack in the 29th minute when Nedelev shot, but the ball bounced off Rick and did not trouble the St. Gallen goalkeeper. In the 31st minute, the Bulgarian champion almost took the lead. After taking a corner, Chochev rose and shot a header. The ball went to Naressi, who would but a Swiss defender cleared. However, the ball found its way to Verdon, who immediately struck the ball off the top of the crossbar and out.

In the 36th minute, Ludogorets took the lead. Rick Jhonathan broke through from the right, made a double with Aslack Von Witry and crossed to Ivaylo Chochev, who with his head left no chance for Vatkoviak - 1:0. In the 44th minute, the Eagles created another good attack, which ended with a dangerous shot by Todor Nedelev, which was deflected by the goalkeeper of St. Gallen.

At halftime, Georgi Dermendzhiev made only one change, bringing on Bernard Tekpetey instead of Caio Vidal. The other 10 were the same. It was Tekpetey who had a good opportunity in the 55th minute, but his header did not trouble the Swiss goalkeeper. At that moment, the new player of the Eagles appeared on the field - Edvin Kurtulus.

In the 62nd minute, Ludogorets took the lead with 2:0! Nedelev passed to Tekpetey, who fired a real projectile, the Swiss goalkeeper did not intervene in the best way and the ball ended up in his net. In the 70th minute, Chochev gave a wonderful pass to Von Witry, who went into a clear position, but was blocked by a St. Gallen defender. Shortly after that, another of the newcomers made his debut for Ludogorets – midfielder Deroy Duarte, who made several good plays.
