Ludogorets achieved an easy 4:0 win over Pirin. It came after an early goal by Spas Delev, who is a former player of Blagoevgrad, the on-duty goals of Polish international Jakub Piotrowski and Brazilian Rwan, as well as a goal by Caio Vidal.
The home coach had made 4 changes to his team in contrast to 1:7 from Nordsjælland. Von Witry, Sundberg, Son, Gonsalves, Piotrowski, Mounir and Rwan retained their seats. In place of Sergio Padt, who was not in the group, came Simon Sluga.
In the 5th minute, Blagoevgrad got into a good position, but Jugo Komano missed the goal, although he escaped from Ludogorets defense. Seconds later, Spas Delev gave the hosts the lead. Rick Jhonathan crossed with his left foot, and Delev's header left Kirev no chance.
In the 19th minute, a cold shower froze the hosts. Claude Gonsalves was hit in the head. Basically, he plays with contact lenses and apparently felt a lot of pain after the contact with Aymen Souda, which was in the left eye. The Portuguese was taken out on a stretcher and was unable to continue the fight. In the 29th minute, Jakub Piotrowski tried his luck, but did not make it difficult for Kirev. The hosts continued to press and the Eagles goalkeeper shone with a double save after shots from Aslak von Witry and Jakub Piotrowski.
In the 34th minute, Simon Sluga saved his goal after a very dangerous shot by Aymen Souda. In the return attack, Mounir could have scored his first goal with the Ludogorets team, but a ricochet deprived him of it. Another good opportunity followed for Mounir, who failed to take advantage again.
The second part started with another pass by Mounir and a reaction by Kirev. Piotrowski also fired a projectile at the goal, but in an out. Another shot followed by Mоunir, who wanted a debut goal at all costs, but again in the out. In the 61st minute, Jakub Piotrowski put an end to the dispute. He received a cross from substitute Caio Vidal and headed Mario Kirev away.
In the 66th minute, Rwan scored for 3:0. The goal was confirmed after a long VAR check.
Shortly before the end of the meeting, Todor Nedelev appeared in the game for Ludogorets. It was the playmaker's first game since July 22. In the 79th minute, Rick scored a second assist, in this case for Caio Vidal, who elegantly passed Mario Kirev - 4:0! By the end of the match, the very strong Rick missed a 100 percent position.
In this way, Ludogorets ended the series of two consecutive victories of Pirin in Razgrad and came within 7 points of the leader Loko Plovdiv. Especially since the Eagles have two games less.
