Ludogorets dropped two points in the derby against Levski

Ludogorets and Levski finished 1–1 in a match from the 34th round of the efbet League. The visitors from Sofia took the lead with a goal by Perea, but Deroy Duarte equalized in the closing minutes.

In the first half, Ludogorets had the upper hand and came very close to scoring on several occasions. As early as the 5th minute, Erick Marcus received the ball just outside the penalty area, faked a pass to Petar Stanic, and shot with his right foot, but directly into the hands of goalkeeper Martin Lukov.

In the 16th minute, the referees failed to award a clear penalty to Ludogorets after Tardin handled the ball during a challenge inside the six-yard box. Shortly afterward, Erick Bile found himself in a good position, but from a tight angle he shot wide. In the 26th minute, Erick Marcus got into another dangerous position but could not beat Martin Lukov. Marcus had another chance soon after, but his shot from a narrow angle missed the target again.

The second half began with a huge missed opportunity for Erick Bile, who, after an excellent move, failed to send the ball past Lukov.

Levski took the lead in the 67th minute. Everton Bala set up Juan Perea in a clear scoring position, and the striker made no mistake.

Ludogorets got back into the match in the 81st minute when Deroy Duarte broke behind the “Blues” defense thanks to a brilliant pass from Petar Stanic, and the Cape Verde international chipped the ball over Lukov with a technical finish to make it 1–1.

Until the final whistle, the hosts tried everything but could not find a winning goal. As a result, after six matches this season, Levski failed to defeat Ludogorets even once.

With two rounds remaining in the championship, Ludogorets are in second place, one point ahead of CSKA 1948 and CSKA.
