In this year's edition of the tournament, in addition to the hosts from Ludogorets and their first opponent, the Serbian giant Crvena Zvezda (Belgrade), Udinese Academy (Romania), Ukrainian giant Dynamo (Kiev), Getica (Moldova) and Grozdanoski Academy (Republic of North Macedonia) also participate. The young footballers are from the 2009 batch.
VIVACOM CUP will be held иn four days - from July 18th to 21st. The six teams are divided into two groups, where they will play on a one-on-one basis. In one group are Ludogorets, Getica and Grozdanoski Academy, and in the other - Crvena Zvezda, Dynamo and Udinese Academy. After the group stage matches, the top two teams will decide in a head-to-head game who will be the final winner of the VIVACOM CUP 2023. The remaining runners-up will face off in a match for 3rd and 4th place, and the third-placed teams will determine the penultimate and the last in the final ranking.
The matches will have two halves of 35 minutes, with a 10-minute break in between. The ranking will be determined by the number of points earned. The regulation stipulates that in the event of an equal number of points, the result of the direct matches will be important. If this is not enough, the goal difference and the number of goals scored will be looked at. Unlike previous editions of the competition, in the case of a red card, the player will not be replaced by a new one, and depending on the severity of the offense, he will be punished with missing one or two matches.
Part of the matches will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of PFC Ludogorets.
