Another recognition for Ludogorets at the end of 2012, the year in which the team became Champions, won the Cup of Bulgaria and took the Super Cup. The captain, Emil Gargorov, was chosen as Sportsman of the year in Razgrad. A nine-person jury, consisting of municipal councillors and journalists, rated the midfielder as number 1 player, followed by his colleague in the squad of „the eagles“ and the national team – Svetoslav Dyakov. Logically, Ivaylo Petev was chosen as Coach of the year in Razgrad, and FC Ludogorets as No. 1 team.Temenuga Gazdova, President of the Board of directors in Ludogorets, and the Executive director Angel Petrichev represented the club at the ceremony and received a cup, statuettes and plaques personally bestowed by Dencho Boyadjiev, Mayor of Razgrad. They received many congratulations and wishes for new successes in 2013.It was announced at the ceremony that the Champions were going to donate the cash prize to the charity tender on Darik Radio, promoted by Niki Kanchev Show. This year it raises money for prematurely born children and autistic children. The coach Ivaylo Petev has already donated a Ludogorets jersey for the cause.
