Ludogorets scored three for 1:1 against Arda

Ludogorets scored three goals but the referees and VAR counted only one for 1:1 against Arda. The champions came out on top in the standings with 23 points, the same as CSKA 1948. However, the team from Sofia has two games more.

Ludogorets took the lead in the 20th second. After an assist from Kiril Despodov, Matias Tissera found himself in a good position and sent the ball into the net. The guests equalized in the 28th minute when El Tetah failed to intercept a cross but the ball hit Terziev and entered Padt's net for 1:1. By the end of the break, Kiril Despodov could have scored, but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper. Danny Grupper was also close to scoring.

After the break Ludogorets pressed and created quite a few situations in front of Arda's goal. The closest to a goal was Georgi Terziev whose header was blocked by Ivan Kokonov in front of the goal line. In the 77th minute Nonato scored but the goal was disallowed due to a controversial tackle by Cicinho in the build-up of the attack. Five minutes before the end of the match, the second goal of Ludogorets was canceled due to a controversial off side by Igor Thiago.

In the next round after the break due to the matches of the national teams the Eagles visit Lokomotiv (Sofia).
