It only took one half for Ludogorets to defeat Botev

Ludogorets easily defeated 3:1 Botev (Vratsa) and this will uplift the champions’ mood for the upcoming Crvena Zvezda match.

The assistant coach of Ludogorets, Stanislav Genchev, guided the team once again. Despodov and Nedyalkov are both injured and missed this match.

The match was dynamic and started with Manu’s goal attempt that was saved by Kostov.

Cicinho passed the ball to Tekpetey in the ninth minute who scored with ease from the penalty zone border.

Botev evened the score in the 18^th minute when the ball ricocheted in Verdon’s back and Mateus took his chances. He scored for 1:1.

Plastun almost scored from the foul point in the 29^th minute but he sent the ball very close to scoring but the ball went close to the woodwork. Sotiriou added the second goal in the 36^th minute after Cauly and Goncalves created an attack.

Sotiriou received the ball from Tekpetey a couple of minutes later and he scored from about 15 meters for 3:1.

Ludogorets kept complete control of the ball during the second half. Kahlina saved a goal attempt by Mateus in the 52^nd minute.

Ludogorets almost added a fourth goal in the 64^th minute but Pinas missed the gate.
