Ludogorets’ coach Valdas Dambrauskas spoke at a press conference today.
“I respect Shakhtyor and Mura. The two matches will be different. The competitors are different. Mura is a well-organized team, down to the last details. I expect a tough match. We need to stay strong after the success we have achieved so far. We know our opponent has studied us as well and they will counterattack. Everyone can win, this is what makes this sport exciting. We want to be confident and to take the initiative. I want us to be in attacking mode”, said the Lithuanian.
“We analyze everything and we try to improve our defense. We need to keep the competitor away. When we have the ball, we do not allow the other team to steal it. We have improved our positioning and other aspects as well.”
“I believe that we will not underestimate anything. My players are focused and they know how important the match is. Some players will have a different performance. We will choose the best. This is why Keseru was not included in the team composition. I respect him but I want the best for the team and I can only choose up to 17 foreign players. Choosing the right players is hard. I try to be honest with the players and we will need everyone at one point. We will rotate them. I am happy with the current selection. The players are united. I want everyone to be happy throughout the season.”
