Bulgaria Under-21 international Mihail Polendakov is officially a Ludogorets player. The defender joined the 14-time Bulgarian champions ten days ago, with the club completing his transfer from English side Sheffield United yesterday.
The 19-year-old right-back will play at Huvepharma Arena on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
"It is an honour to become a Ludogorets player. I hope to adapt quickly to the team and help the club in its fight for trophies," said Mihail Polendakov.
Polendakov is regarded as one of Bulgaria's most promising young players in his position. He has made 39 senior appearances for Septemvri Sofia, and following his move to Sheffield United, he also featured twice for the English club.
The defender is a regular member of the Bulgaria Under-21 national team and has previously represented his country at every youth international level.
