Ludogorets defeated a Regionalliga contester in the first trial match this season.
Ludogorets defeated a Regionalliga contester in the first trial match this season. The match between the champions and Heimstetten ended with a 2:0 score. Dambrauskas included two second-team players – Kelyovluev and Budinov. Goncalves made his debut as well. Padt and Plastun also joined the team in the second half.
The Bulgarian champion created a goal situation as early as the 16th minute. Ikoko passed the ball to Kelyovluev who sent the ball into the goalkeeper of Heimstetten. Ikoko had his own chance to score 13 minutes later but the keeper saved.
Tekpetey passed the ball to Manu who almost scored at the beginning of the second half. Unfortunately, the ball went into the gatekeeper’s face. Tchibota kicked the ball from the foul point later but the ball once again hit the gatekeeper’s body. Tchibota had another chance to score in the 55th minute and he took it. Many added a second goal minutes before the match ended.
