Ludogorets’ management organized the annual pre-season press conference and revealed the new technical director – Cosmin Moti was personally introduced by the managing director Angel Petrichev.

“I would like to announce a pleasant surprise. The era of Cosmin Moti as a player is over – he, Dyakov, and Marcelinho will no longer play for the club. They are all part of the club’s DNA and working for the club is a natural development. This is why Moti was appointed as the new technical director of the club. He will assist Georgi Karamandzhukov which is a huge responsibility. Moti will be close to the team and will help the coach in this rather hard period for Ludogorets. We have some doubts and we count on Moti to help with solving any problem”, Petrichev said.

“I said years ago that when Ludogorets adds a star over the club logo, I will end my career. This is a decision taken long ago. It was easier for me this way. I do the same thing for the past 20 years and this new challenge will allow me to achieve a different type of success”, the Romanian added.

“It is nice to see everyone coming back together. The break is over and the new season is coming. We are happy to have more than 20 players with solid contracts and everyone will get their chance, including the young ones. We are pleased with having Yankov. He needs to be an example for everyone at the club academy. The selection is an ongoing process. We already started the training process this morning”, coach Valdas Dambrauskas added.
