Ludogorets defeated 4:1 Arda in Razgrad. The match included a lot of VAR adjustments. The guest team took the lead but Ludogorets turned the tables on them.
The match was relatively calm in the first 15 minutes and no real goal situations were witnessed. Kahlina saved Yordanov’s goal attempt in the 18th minute. Cauly tried to score after that but Simeonov kicked the ball out. Keseru missed a good chance to score after that and sent the ball above the crossbar. Arda created a nice attack in the 29th minute when Martinov tried to score but the ball went into a corner. Dyakov allowed a mistake in the 37th minute and it went to Tilev who redirected it to Yordanov. He scored easily. Yankov evened the score but one of the referees ruled an offside. The VAR system proved the goal was legitimate. Taravel scored an own goal immediately after that. The VAR system was used to verify the situation again.
Arda’s coach Kirov replaced three players during halftime, allowing Delev, Juhinho, and Petkov to warm up for the Bulgarian Cup final next week.
Ludogorets added a third goal in the 57th minute when Santana scored easily. Cauly shaped the final score in the 87th minute after he took advantage of the competitors’ mistakes.
