Iakov Paparkov won the competition for Youth Academy Director

The coach Iakov Paparkov, who was, until recently, leading Pirin (Goce Delchev), will take the helm at the Ludogorets Football Academy.

The coach Iakov Paparkov, who was, until recently, leading Pirin (Goce Delchev), will take the helm at the Ludogorets Football Academy. The young specialist won a competition in which the applications of a dozen famous Bulgarian coaches were concidered. Paparkov impressed Ludogorets’s management with his ambitious program and his energy for work. He will take up his duties in Monday. After the dismissal of Ivaylo Kotev, the working process was observed directly by the assistant of Ivaylo Petev – Georgi Dermendjiev. Currently, more than 160 kids train in the Club’s modern sport center. The Club participates also in the U17 championship. The talented players have already won two matches and made a draw with Levski’s team U17, at the Gerena artificial pitch.

Iakov Paparkov’s profile

Iakov Paparkov is born on 08.02.1971 in Goce Delchev. He was trained in the Youth Academy of Pirin (GD). He graduated at the National Sports Academy, in 1992. From 1992 to 1995 he played in Lokomotiv (Gorna Oryahovitsa). From 1995 to 1997 he defended the colors of Etar, and then those of Minior Pernik - 1997-1998. In the summer of 1998 Marek attracted him. He played there until 2000. Then he was transferred to Makedonska slava, and since the beginning of 2003 he is in Belasitsa.
