Ludogorets U19 achieved a 2:2 score against Spartak (Varna)’s first team – the same composition that competed in the Second professional league last season. The first trial game took place in the “Eagles’ Nest” club base.
The guest team took the lead in the first minute but Ludogorets picked up their pace and scored a couple of goals. Hyusein scored both in the 25th and 37th minute. Georgiev and Nikolov also had good chances to score.
Stefan Slavov, the coach of Ludogorets U19, replaced seven players in the 55th minute. Spartak added a second goal in the 81st minute. Ludogorets could have won but Ivanov and Gospodinov both missed their chances to score.
Stefan Slavov said how pleased he was with the outcome of this match, considering it was the first trial game for the team. However, he noticed that the team pace slowed down after the 60th minute, which he didn’t like. It was probably due to the replacements made.
