Ludogorets suffered a heavy loss to Espanyol in their fourth game of the Europa League H group. Everything turned into a nightmare when Forster and Goralski left the game in the first half. The French referee gave the home team the right to a penalty kick as well. As a result, Espanyol scored three goals in the first half. Melendo, Marmol and Vargas were the ones who scored.
The home team scored the fourth goal as soon as the second half began. Pedrosa added the fifth goal in the 73rd minute, and three minutes later Ferreira made the score 6:0.
Ludogorets experienced big trouble with two players short, and Iliev even managed to save more goal situations. The team remains second in their group after Ferencvaros and CSKA Moscow scored no goals in the game between them.
