Ludogorets lost 2:3 to Ferencvarosi in rematch which was part of the Champions League preliminary round. The champions will continue by participating in the Europa League second preliminary round. They will play against Valur Reykjavik.

There were 9,000 spectators at the stadium in Razgrad. The first situation was in front of Renan’s gate. Ikoko caused a penalty against a Ferencvarosi player. Kharatin tried to score with his head after that but he sent the ball above the crossbar. The guest team took the lead in the 17th minute. There was a corner shot and Kharatin took advantage of that. He scored with his head and nobody was there to cover him. The home team tried to respond immediately. Marcelinho had the chance to score a couple of minutes after that from the foul point after Swierczok was fouled at the penalty zone border. The went straight into the right gate beam. The guest team added a second goal after that after Ludogorets made a mistake in their defense line. Zubkov passed to Skvarka in the penalty zone and he scored despite Terziev’s interference. Ludogorets kept their spirit and three minutes later scored a goal. Terziev was able to add the goal after a corner shot. Marcelinho had another chance to score after that. The Brazilian chose a different tactic this time and he tried to keep the ball low, but the ball missed the gate. What was probably the best situation for Ludogorets happened in the 28th minute. The team from Razgrad received the right to a penalty shot after Lovrencic blocked Swierczok in the penalty zone. Swierczok performed the penalty shot himself but his naïve attempt was not good enough. The keeper had no trouble saving.

Stoev replaced Swierczok with Keseru during the half time. However, the beginning of the second part was a nightmare for the home team. Ferencvarosi added a third goal when Skvarka passed to Tokmac Nguen and he scored with a bit of luck, because the ball made a ricochet in Goralski’s body and fooled Renan. The final score was shaped in the 69th minute when Ludogorets created another attack. The ball eventually made a ricochet in Heischer’s foot, meaning that he scored an own goal. The end was particularly bitter for Ludogorets when Moti fouled another player in the field center and received a red card.
