Anicet scored a historically important goal and Madagascar was not able to defeat Guinea

The Ludogorets midfielder Anicet scored an important goal in the game which his team played against Guinea. The game ended with a 2:2 score and was part of the B group of the African Nations Cup. This was a debut game for the island country in the tournament which takes place in Egypt. Guinea was considered to be the better team and they scored the first goal in the 34^th minute. Anicet made the score even in the 49^th minute using his head. Madagascar even turned the score in their favor after they scored another goal six minutes later. Guinea made the score even in the 66^th minute when Camano scored from the penalty point. Madagascar now shares the second place overall with Guinea. The team of Nigeria is in the lead, and Burundi takes the third spot.

Jorginho will play as part of Guinea-Bissau against Cameroon on Tuesday. They are in the same group as Ghana and Benin.
