Ludogorets made it to the 1/8 in the Bulgarian Cup tournament. The champions defeated Oborishte with a 3:2 score in Panagyurishte in a game with a lot of added time. The goals for “The Eagles” were scored by Junior Quixada in the 39th minute and by Claudiu Keseru in the 99th and the 115th minutes. The hosts’ goals were scored by Netov in the 78th minute and by Vasilev in the 118th minute.

The champions dominated through the whole match and had numerous goal situations in front of their competitor’s gate. A little negligence in the defense allowed Netov to score and thus added time was needed.

Both teams ended up with 10 players. Jacek Goralski received a controversial second yellow card and respectively a red one in the beginning of the second half. Georgi Netov left the game with an injury, when his team had already made their three replacements.

The Ludogorets Academy talent Svetoslav Kovachec played for 73 minutes. He performed excellent and was even close to scoring a goal in Oborishte’s gate.
