Ludogorets lost 0:2 to Hapoel Beer Sheva in the first game of the third qualification round of the Champions League. Now “The Eagles” face a challenge in the rematch in Razgrad next week, but the odds are still good. Georgi Dermendzhiev’s boys played good in Israel and created quite a few goal situations in front of the hosts’ gate. The goals scored by Hapoel happened after three situations in front of Jorge Broun.

Nukame scored the first goal in the 19th minute after he took advantage of a pass by the best player on the field - Maor Melikson. The replacement Ohara scored the second goal after an innocent situation and an unfocused performance by Plastun in the penalty zone.

The result could have been completely different, but the all the luck in this game was not working in favor of Ludogorets. Wanderson missed three times from a clear goal position. Marcelinho and Natanael also had their chances, but it was Haimov’s day.
