The talents from Ludogorets U16 received their gold medals and lifted the champions' cup in the Varna zone championship for juniors. The Eagles won their last match in the competition against Spartak Varna with 7:0 and finished with full assets - only wins, no draws and no losses. The award ceremony and the match were at the "Eagles' Nest" stadium.
Alexander Valyakov opened the scoring with a header in the 2nd minute. He headed in a cross from Ismet Hasan's corner kick. In the 23rd minute, Ismet Hasan cleverly brought Yanko Azhuani face to face with the goalkeeper and the visitors got a second goal. In the 32nd minute, Elisey Sarov made the difference with a classic shot from outside the penalty area. In the 40th minute, Stanislav Vitanov scored with a header for 4:0, and Chris Ivanov crossed the ball. That's how the first half ended.
In the second, Gian Niazi scored for 5:0 with a shot from distance. Svetlin Kralev made it 6:0 with a header after intercepting Atanas Mutafov's cross. In the 71st minute, after an independent breakthrough, Christian Dokovski made the final 7:0.
The season has been excellent for us, but we must not fly in the clouds. Yes, we recorded a full asset of points, but surely in the Elite Group next season the competition will be much stronger. However, this will help us to grow and become better, because the main goal is to build these boys as individuals and good football players, commented the head coach Dimcho Nenov after the end of the match.
