The Head coach of Ludogorets Dimitar Dimitrov spoke at the official press conference prior to the Istanbul Basaksehir match.

“Istanbul Basaksehir has a chance to qualify for the next Europa League phase and I expect to see an attacking manner of play from this team. They need to win more desperately, because all we need is at least a good even score. However, I expect a tough game, but I do hope we take the win again”, said Dimitrov before today’s game against Turkey’s second strongest team.

“This game will be different than the first when it comes to tactics. The previous match did not matter as much as this one does in terms of the result – now we have to win in order to qualify, and they have to win just to have at least a chance. All this creates tension. Everybody in the team are healthy and we will be at our best, I hope we will surprise them”, Dimitrov added.

“I believe that our chosen tactic will be the right one. The final score is what is important. In our home games we tend to play in attacking manner as well, so now it will not be any different”

“Istanbul Basaksehir is a strong team with extreme depth and that allows them to make big rotations. Before their first game against us they defeated 3:2 Fenerbahce, and now Galatasaray with 5:1, which clearly shows their class”, Dimitrov concluded.
