Ludogorets secured another victory in the efbet League championship, winning 2:1 against Botev (Plovdiv). With this success, “The Eagles” collected 16 points and are currently in first place in the standings. Levski has the same points tally after earlier beating CSKA 1948 at home, also 2:1.

Edvin Kurtulus opened the scoring in the 22nd minute. He found the net with a header following a scramble in the visitors' penalty area and an assist from Ivaylo Chochev.

The visitors from Plovdiv equalized in the 43rd minute. Former Ludogorets player Todor Nedelev delivered a cross into the six-yard box, where Minkov volleyed the ball into the net past Bonmann. An offside was initially flagged, but after a VAR review, the goal was awarded.

Ludogorets decided the match in the 49th minute. Ivaylo Chochev scored with a header after a cross from Caio Vidal. For the remainder of the match, the home side dominated completely, missing several clear chances to increase their lead. The closest to scoring was Caio Vidal, whose shot hit the post, and Erick Bile, who had multiple dangerous attempts saved by goalkeeper Daniel Naumov.
