Ludogorets defeated 3:0 Levski at Gerena stadium and now has a nine-point advantage ahead of the second team in the First league championship. The advantage ahead of the third team overall – CSKA is now 14 points. This win was a great present for the club owner’s birthday – Kiril Domuschiev turned 32.

Santana and Grigore were not included in the team composition due to penalties but Dyakov was available after he healed from an injury.

Ludogorets were eager to win. Despodov received the ball from Wanderson but he did not end the attack well. Despodov outplayed Reras in the 8th minute and passed the ball to Keseru who scored using his good skills. This was his 16th goal this season. Ludogorets added a second goal a couple of minutes later. Wanderson diverted the ball so Cauly could take control over it and the midfielder left no chance for Mikulic to save.

Levski tried to do something after the shocking turn of events but they managed to organize only a single attack. Mihailovic tried to score with his head but Kahlina saved easily. The home team demanded a penalty kick in the 36th minute. The ball hit Sa’s arm after Petkov kicked the ball but the ball touched his abdominal area first and the referee decided the was no penalty.

Ludogorets was close to adding a third goal three minutes later but Mikulic saved heroically. Dimitrov replaced Naydenov in an attempt to make the team more active. This meant that Levski had five defenders.

The second part began with Kahlina’s success at saving Dimitrov’s goal attempt. Bari tried to score after that but the keeper saved. Kraev almost scored in the 65th minute but the ball ricocheted and went outside the gate. Manu tried to score in the 78th minute but Mikulic kicked the ball back. Cauly met the ball with his head and immediately scored. Mikulic saved an almost certain goal at the end of the match.
