PFC Ludogorets was able to pull off another successful deal on the transfer market. The Bulgarian champion and AA Gent finalized Igor Plastun’s transfer today. The Ukrainian defender, who also has a Bulgarian passport, was able to pass through the medical exams on Tuesday and signed his contract immediately after that. In the next few days Plastun will be officially introduced as the newest player of the fourth team in the Belgian championship, which is also a participant in the preliminary rounds of UEFA Europa League.
Igor Plastun was born on August 20, 1990 in Kiev. He began his career in Obolon Kiev and Karpaty Lviv, and in the summer of 2016 he joined Ludogorets, where he was more than successful in the games of the Bulgarian championship, as well as in the UEFA Europa League matches. Plastun played 75 matches in two seasons wearing the Ludogorets T-shirt and scored four goals. He also has fifteen games with the youth formations of Ukraine’s national football team.
