Antoni Zdravkov is the newest member of the coach staff of the new Ludogorets general manager Paulo Autuori. Zdravkov will be assisting the Brazilian specialist who has already begun leading the training sessions of the team in Smolyan. Curiously enough, the two of them have worked together in 1991 for the Portuguese team Maritimo, where Autuori was Zdravkov’s coach.
Antoni Zdravkov spent the last few years as the coach of the youth national football team of Bulgaria, and has previously worked as coach in four Bulgarian teams – Chavdar (Byala Slatina), Kaliakra, Botev (Vratsa) and Levski.
His football career is very impressive and part of it was spent in Portugal. During the 1984-2000 period he has played for Levski, Lokomotiv (Sofia), Yantra, Maritimo, National, Benfica Castelo Branco, Velbazhd and Septemvri. Zdravkov has three matches with the Bulgarian national team on his account between 1986 and 1989.
The new Ludogorets recruit will join the team this weekend during the camp in Smolyan which ends on 15th of June.
