Ludogorets successfully started the defense of the Bulgarian Cup, defeating the third division Balkan in Botevgrad with 4:0.
Bernard Tekpetey put the Grazers ahead in the 15th minute when he scored from Aslack Von Witry's lead. In the 56th minute, Todor Nedelev doubled the score after controlling the ball with his left foot and sending it into the net with his right. Rwan scored a third goal for Ludogorets in the 72nd minute when he latched onto a low cross from the wing by Aslak Von Witry. The fourth goal for the visitors came in the 80th minute when Rick Jhonathan scored.
In the 1/8 finals, the Eagles will face Lokomotiv Plovdiv and the meeting will be in Razgrad.
