Ludogorets defeated 2:0 Beroe, which is the team's tenth victory since the beginning of the season. The home team had a rough time in the 10^th minute when Kahlina fell down and Padt was ready to replace him but the keeper wanted to remain on the pitch. Plastun and Sa also signalized they had issues and had to be replaced. Despodov almost scored after that, but the ball went above the crossbar. The keeper also saved Sotiriou’s goal attempt in the 24^th minute. The VAR system ruled there was no penalty a few minutes later when Vasilev pushed Ikoko in the penalty zone. Kamara also left the pitch injured in the 27^th minute.

Yankov passed the ball to Tchibota in the 33^rd minute and he scored. Cicinho had the chance to add a second goal in the 44^th minute but Ganev saved.

Beroe missed their chance to even the score later when Lebon almost added a goal. Kahlina saved this situation. Plastun almost scored from the corner point later but the ball went into Ganev’s arms. Mechev tried to score in the 60^th minute but his attempt was blocked by Terziev.

Both teams received a bundle of yellow cards in the last 20 minutes. Kahlina saved one more goal attempt before Tekpetey added the second goal after Despodov initiated an attack.
