The coach of Ludogorets spoke at a press conference preceding the Crvena Zvezda match.

“Nedyalkov, Sa, and Cicinho are injured and that is a problem, as they are defensive players. Cauly and Marin are not available as well. Every coach does not like having fewer of his best players. Still, we are here to play and we can return as winners”.

“We are here to win because this is how we continue ahead. There is no other way. We went through a lot of changes. The players are the youngest ever. Until now, we did rather well in our overall performance, considering the players we have”.

“We cannot say what the competitors are thinking. They have more points overall, but we still have our chances. I am almost ready with the final team composition”.

 “I prefer high tension and tough competitors. This keeps us focused. We always maintain a steady tactic. Still, we cannot foresee what will happen in this match. I expect a positive for us”.

“We will have to do what it takes without the absent players. It is important for us to keep a high level without them. We need to do what we can to prevent a goal in our gate and to score at least one”.

Ludogorets’ scorer Despodov spoke at a press conference prior to the Crvena Zvezda match.

“It is nice to make kids happy. The atmosphere is great when kids are at the stadium. We hope to play quality football and please the fans”.

“Let them think they are superior. It is important how we play and we should not care what the competitor thinks. I feel great despite not being able to train for five days. I am still in shape and I am motivated.”

“Crvena Zvezda has an incredible audience. It is nice to play before fans who know quality football. I enjoy this a lot. I hope the kids will create a similar atmosphere. We will not play on an empty stadium.”

“I miss sometimes; it happens to everyone. I am ready for whatever may come. I could score a lot of goals in the next matches. Nobody knows what’s coming, it is part of the game. I hope I score more goals on European ground.”

Ludogorets will travel to Serbia with a charter flight from Varna on Wednesday. The match is scheduled for Thursday at Rajko Mitic Stadium at 6:45 PM local time (7:45 PM Bulgarian time).

The training session of Ludogorets starts at 6:30 PM today. The press conference begins 45 minutes earlier. The coach Genchev and Despodov will participate.

Ludogorets will return to Bulgaria immediately after the match. The team is expected to arrive at Varna airport at 1:30 PM on Friday.
