Ludogorets defeated 1:0 CSKA and took a step forward to a new title. Tekpetey scored the winning goal in the 4^th minute. This win ensured a six-point advantage for the champions in the overall rating.

The team captain Svetoslav Dyakov was not available. Iliev took Renan’s place as a gatekeeper while Keseru was the main playmaker.

Despodov outplayed Galabov and Sinclair and kicked the ball in the 4^th minute. Tekpetey received the ball and scored easily. The champions were close to adding a second goal in the 18^th minute when Despodov almost scored but Matey’s split prevented that from happening. Again, Despodov missed a chance to score with his head in the 34^th minute. The player missed yet another great chance in the 43^rd minute when he tried to score but the gatekeeper kicked the ball back.

Sinclair passed the ball to Tiago in the 63^rd minute. Caicedo intervened and played with his head, not allowing his teammate to add a goal. The guest team tried to create their best situation in the entire match in the 76^th minute when Caicedo kicked the ball but he was not accurate. Keseru was fouled in the 87^th minute and things escalated quickly. Koch pushed Despodov and received an immediate yellow card.

Seconds before the end of the match, Ludogorets missed a great opportunity for a new goal. The replacement player Yankov passed to Keseru but Koch intervened. Despodov reacted immediately and passed to Yankov who was not able to score. There was some tension after the match was over. Youga and Despodov started a feud but it did not escalate.
