The Arda vs Ludogorets game has been postponed, causing changes in Ludogorets’ schedule. The team will travel to Varna Airport instead of Plovdiv.
The charter flight is expected to arrive around 3:00 AM on October 2nd.
The coach of Ludogorets – Pavel Vrba, spoke at a press conference regarding the upcoming playoff match.
„We are not concerned at all but we respect our competitor. We have seen them play and we focus on the fact this match will decide our future in Europa League. I believe we will continue ahead”, said the coach. “Apart from Wanderson and Anicet, all the other players are here. We know Dynamo’s level and we are aware that they have good players. Still, we need to win and qualify for the group phase. We would like for the guest team to continue winning, just like our previous couple of matches. A lot of things were perfected since the last qualification matches. You know that Ludogorets has a regular presence in the European tournaments in the past decade. We will try to continue that”, Vrba added.
Vrba commented on the fact that he achieved a win in all four times he was guiding a team to the playoffs: “The secret lies within the club. Everyone needs to be united. It was not my success entirely, as everyone contributed to it. I’ve been guiding a team during a match in Belarus twice and both times we had a 1:1 score from the previous matches but we still made it to the group phase. I hope we have the same luck tomorrow”.
The coach spoke about his health, too. “I feel good, I recovered in the hospital in Ruse where they took care of me. I need to follow the medics’ advice, though. I am already on the pitch”.
Ludogorets arrived in Minsk at noon today after a charter flight from Varna. The team will stay at the Marriott hotel. The official practice session is scheduled for 7:30 PM today at Dynamo stadium. The Dynamo vs Ludogorets match starts tomorrow at 9:00 PM.
Anicet and Wanderson will not be part of the team due to injuries.
